Welcome to KMS!! The Science department has been working very hard to create and exciting, engaging and rigorous learning environment for our students. We strive to encourage problem solving, critical thinking, and open up the minds of kids in our charge each day. This is my 7th year as a Co-teacher for 6th, 7th and 8th grade Science. I have 2 sons who went through KMS, one graduating from KHS in 2007 and currently serving his 2nd tour in the US NAVY as a Hospital Corpsman; the younger graduated from KPHS, where he was instrumental in the formation of the KPARK FFA organization. He attended SHSU for 2 years, and is currently waiting to enter the US NAVY. As your children will find out, I am a lover of the outdoors, swimming and horseback riding as much as I can. I am actively involved in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. But my greatest passion these days is my involvement in Boy Scouts of America. Both of my boys are Eagle Scouts, and my current job with our District is serving as the Advancement Chairman, in charge of all the Eagle Scouts. It is very rewarding. One of my great joys is travelling the world with my mother each summer. I am blessed to have that opportunity! Each summer we try to plan a trip that will expose me to something new and exciting that I can bring back to the classroom! I love taking and sharing pictures!! I will endeavor to keep my webpage populated with useful information, links, and documents to help my students.
