Humble ISD, in partnership with Lone Star College-Kingwood's LSC-TV, produces a monthly television program that airs on Kingwood Cable Channel 42 for some district residents. The show is hosted by Mrs. Lynn Fields and Superintendent Dr. Guy Sconzo, and brings you stories from all over our school district community.

  • Satellite technology for outdoor fun at Woodland Hills Elementary
    WHE Assistant Principal Julie Brewer, student Adeer Siddiqui and parent Mohammed Siddiqui talk about the innovative grant-funded Geocaching Club in which students are using 21st-century satellite technology while having old-fashioned fun outdoors.

  • Bridges to College & Career planning for middle school students
    Creekwood Middle School counselor Julie Crain, Parent Lindy Nelson-Paryag and student Trent Nelson-Paryag talk about how the Bridges program for determining career interest is helpful in planning for high school career pathways.

  • What students are learning & earning in Engineering Program
    Engineering Teacher Loyd Callahan and two students talk about the Engineering Design program, where students can earn their Auto CAD Certified Associate certification – free of cost to the student and family.

  • Girl Talk at Pine Forest Elementary
    School Counselor Jennifer Vandenbrook, 5th grader Zoe Wooden and 2nd grader Shelby Winn talk about this innovative grant-funded project to address bullying, aggression and self-image at Pine Forest Elementary.

  • Woodland Hills' Chelsea Dean is Texas Intervener of the Year
    Woodland Hills Lifeskills Teacher Linne Querubin, Parent Caroline Daley and Lifeskills Paraeducator Chelsea Dean talk about earning the Intervener of the Year Award, and how that affects the life of one very special deaf/blind child.

      Cambridge School/Mosaic teacher Geralyn Sullivan received the Family Time Woman of Achievement award for education. She will talk about her work at Cambridge School.

      Family and Consumer Science Teacher Rolanda Wilkins, KPHS student Lauren Addison and KHS student Ann Vondrak talk about how we are “growing our own teachers” in this CTE pathway for students who are interested in the field of education.

      Assistant Superintendent for High Schools Trey Kraemer, Parent Linda Taylor and SCHS student Krysten Barnes talk about what it means to be recognized by H-E-B for this award.

    • Fine Arts Festival is coming soon!
      Elementary Arts Facilitator Stacia Gower, and art teacher Lisa Jones talk about this multi-faceted event that highlights HISD and LSC-K students’ fine arts talents. Attendance averages between 4,000 and 5,000 people a year.
