Movies / Video Clips: Throughout the year, I like to use many video clips to spark discussions and to help teach the material. I rarely if ever show full movies (too much time and many movies are not historically or geographically accurate). Before any clip that might include graphic material, I tell the kids if they cannot handle a scene or do not want to watch, they can work on an alternate assignment outside the classroom until the clip is over. If you have any questions on what videos I use or if you do not want your kids watching certain scenes please feel free to contact me. I only show clips that will help students better understand the context of the current unit or event.
