    Sammy Sixth Grader remarked after hearing me say that another student should not be talking to their shoe, " But Mrs. Hills, your shoe is the best article of clothing to have a conversation with.  It has a sole and a tongue."!!!!

    Sebastian Sixth Grader- While studying double negatives- "Mrs. Hills, we should call this unit Hillbilly Handfishing Grammar."   Then another student then asked, "May we call it Hillsbilly.... grammar (obviously because of my name)."
