Lockers

• TMS will not be using lockers this year. Students are allowed to carry a string backpack for gym clothes and sack lunches.

ID Badges

• All students will be required to wear ID badges to school daily. More information will be shared at a later date.

Organization

• All students are expected to purchase and carry a daily agenda. Agendas will be on sale during Panther Camp for a cost of $5. Students will use it daily and we ask that parents review it every evening.
• All 6th grade students are required to carry a 2-3” binder which will hold all assignments for their core classes. These can be purchased during Panther Camp for $6.
• The 6th grade school supply list is posted on our website.
• Only string backpacks are allowed on campus to carry gym clothes and lunches.

Academics- All students are required to purchase vocabulary cards for their Reading Language Arts class this year. Purchase price for these cards is $7. Some elective classes require small fees as well. See specific teacher for more information.

Home Access Center (HAC)-Through this program, you will be able to access your child’s grades online.

Late Arrival-Thursdays are late arrival days. Students must be at school by 10:00 a.m. We also provide a study hall to students who arrive on campus early; however, for this opportunity, students must arrive from 8-8:30 to gain admittance into the building.

Cafeteria

• We encourage students to pack their lunch for the first two weeks of school. The lines are generally very long and lunch time goes very quickly.

P.E.

• P.E. uniforms will be available for purchase during Panther Camp. The price for the uniform is $15.

Student drop-off and pick-up

• Please use the drop off and pick up area at the front of the school. Please note that the first 3 weeks of school, traffic will be very heavy. Also, the side area of the school is for bus transportation only.

6th GRADE PANTHER CAMP IS TUESDAY, AUGUST 14th from 2-7.
