AR stands for Accelerated Reader.  Greentree currently uses AR as enrichment for students.  Students in grades 2-5 are taught to use Accelerated Reader and are given their own password to log into their account.  Students are told to keep passwords a secret.  No one is to try and guess someone elses password or log into another person's account.  Students are taught how to locate AR books in the Greentree library by looking for the bright green dot.  We try to write in the front cover of the book the reading level and the point value for each book. Testing may only be completed at school.

Students moving on to middle school will have their reading record sent with them and books may not be tested on again.  We encourage all 5th graders to print out what they have read before the end of the school year.
