    We are saddened to inform you of the April 23 loss of Mary Helen Bazan, Office Professional for the Document Center. Condolences to Mary’s husband, Randy Bazan, Humble ISD Maintenance Department, and to daughter Vivian Bazan Rhea, Office Professional at Lakeland Elementary. Sympathy also to two sons at Humble High School and two older daughters.

    Please keep Randy and the Bazan family in your thoughts and prayers. A Gofundme account has been established to help the family with funeral expenses.

  • Sympathy to Patty and Leslie Tillotson

    Sympathy to Patty Tillotson, Nurse at Timberwood Middle School, and also to Leslie Tillotson, Special Education Interventionist at Lakeshore Elementary School, on the recent loss of Patty’s mother and Leslie’s grandmother, Marie Holt. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. and Rosary will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 27 at Mission Park Funeral Chapel, located at 3401 Cherry Ridge Dr. in San Antonio, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, located at 13715 Riggs Road in Helotes, Texas. Burial services will be on Monday, May 1 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ft. Sam National Cemetery, located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, Texas.

    Please keep the Tillotson family in your thoughts and prayers. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to two of Marie’s favorite charities–Ronald McDonald House and the American Heart Association.

  • Sympathy to Takara Badrock

    Sympathy to Takara Badrock, Teen Leadership and Professional Communications teacher at Summer Creek High School, on the April 10 loss of her father, Alfred Barnes, following a battle with cancer. Alfred served as a US Army Sergeant in communications and security from June 25, 1968 to August 1978, and was in the Air Force Reserves from 1978 to 1985. The Summer Creek High School’s JROTC students and Senior Army Instructors, Major (R) Rick Parker and First Sergeant Lanetia Valcin, presented Takara's mother the US flag during the April 12 funeral service. Please keep Takara and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

  • Sympathy to Jennifer Winter

    Condolences to Jennifer Winter, Police Department Technology Coordinator, on the April 5 loss of her father, Jerry Whitman. Jerry served as Police Chief of the Mount Belvieu Police Department from 1988 until his retirement in 2007.  A visitation will be on Sunday, April 9, from 3-5 p.m. at the Navarre Funeral Home, located at 2444 Rollingbrook Drive in Baytown, TX. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 10 at 2 p.m. at the Wooster Baptist Church located at 7007 Bayway Drive in Baytown, TX. Please keep Jennifer and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
