Disciplinary Alternative Education Program
 
 

Our Mission

 
A disciplinary alternative education program (DAEP) established in conformance with the Texas Education Code (TEC), §37.008, and this section is defined as an educational and self-discipline alternative instructional program, adopted by local policy, for students in elementary through high school grades who are removed from their regular classes for mandatory or discretionary disciplinary reasons and placed in a DAEP.
 
DAEP's purpose is to provide a safe and nuturing learning environment that promotes and encourages our students to develop the attitudes, responsibiltities, knowledge, and skills that are essential for being successful in school and society. Partnering with parents, our educational colleagues, and the community, we support student learning and the development of life long learners and responsible citizens.
