It was a great year!

Congratulation on the first playoff appearance.

All the best to Ariel, Ashley and Stephanie. We will miss you. Remember life is a game play to win, but have fun with your team mates along the way.


AHS Softball Classifieds:
Job openings:
Team Mom: Good organizational skills a must, juggling experience is helpful; you do not need any delegation experience. Good at email, phone contacting. Duties include attending all games including JV, ordering t-shirts, coordinating concessions (have Chic Fil A on speed dial), coordinate team meals, fund raiser…… and much, much more!
Banquet committee: Help organize and put on a banquet that will please everyone including your picky husband. Store mannequins in your garage.
Booster Club Representative: (2 positions) be able to attend the AHSASBC meetings on the second Monday of each month and vote for the items requested by our coach. The ability to be annoyed by the baseball team a puls.
Announcer: Not afraid to talk in front of large crowds. Able to talk, play music, keep score and run the score board at the same time. Pronounce difficult names or just mess them up royally. Knowledge of sound equipment and the lack of a life giving you the ability to stay for entire tournaments on weekdays a plus.
Web Master: Update the web site with current information and late breaking news rain outs, picture day, little sister info and more. Stay up all night resizing pictures to fit on web site.
Handyman: Paint dugouts, build counters, rake fields, fix netting, build and install cubbies etc.
Enthusiastic Fan: Loud voice and coaching experience a plus. Bilingual candidates will have an advantage. Access to construction scraps also considered.
Wife of Enthusiastic fan: Heart of gold a must.
Dedicated Mom: Sit in the stand when your kid is not playing drive across town just to see the last inning and be ready to deliver coaches babies at a moment’s notice.
These positions DO NOT come with any pay, reimbursement, free admission, playing time, promise of team placement, or any other compensation. Side effects include; sore throat, headache, broken heart, loss of money, bleacher bottom, miles on your car, sleepless night, sore arms, sun burn, upset stomach (from close games and ball park food). They do come with occasional thanks, but mostly they come with a sense of pride that can only come from watching your daughter and your twelve adopted daughters step on to the field and come together as a team and live the dream of representing their school to the best of their ability and the opportunity to do a little something for the greatest girls that have ever stepped on to a softball field.
