Dual Credit Program Information
The Dual Credit program is specially designed for junior and senior secondary education students. Those who qualify can earn high school and college credit. Both high school and college credits are awarded upon successful completion of the course.
Before taking dual credit courses, please check with the university of choice to confirm if a dual credit course you are planning to take will transfer.
All Dual Credit courses are dependent upon enrollment and teacher availability.

2024 - 2025 Dual Credit courses will be offered through Lonestar College.
January & February
Complete the Dual Credit Interest form online. Speak with your counselor or Mrs. Kinney if you have questions about Dual Credit.
Now through March 29
Complete the ApplyTX application to LSC & get your LSC ID.

Meet testing requirements. Take TSIA2, if required. Click here for more information about the TSIA2 test and exemptions.

April 23 - 24
Pick up your Dual Credit enrollment packet during Mustang Hour.
May 3
All Dual Credit Forms and test scores due to Mrs. Kinney in the College Room.

Humble ISD Dual Credit Summer Academy 2024 Deadlines
Dual Credit Summer Academy 2024 courses will be offered through San Jacinto College.
Now through March 2
Meet with your counselor/Dual Credit Liaison to determine the right classes to take.
Complete the ApplyTX application to SJC.
Determine TSIA2 test score requirements & test if necessary.
March 4 through March 29
Complete Dual Credit Summer Academy course selection. Visit the Dual Credit Summer Academy website for further registration information.
March 29
All required forms and applicable qualifying test scores are due to the KHS Dual Credit Liaison.
April 23 - 24
Attend ONE orientation. Virtual - Tuesday, April 23 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. In-Person - Wednesday, April 24 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m.

To enroll in Dual Credit classes, students must demonstrate college readiness.
