AHS students are invited to apply to the Medical Mentorship Program at St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital. This is a highly selective program that allows chosen participants the chance to shadow a physician of various specialties for a week in order to provide them firsthand knowledge and experience in the medical field. This program is ideal for those students who believe they would like to pursue a career as a physician in the future. The program begins at the age of 16 (must be 16 by June 26th), and the applicant must be at least a Junior in High School or higher for the 2013-2014 school year. The application deadline is April 30th (no exceptions) and we will accept the first 100 applications we receive for review. The number of students selected will be contingent upon the number of physicians that agree to be mentors. This is a great opportunity for your students.
