Humble ISD Education Foundation announces results of Employee Donations

Humble ISD Education Foundation Board President Jen Sitton announced that Humble ISD employees have pledged $328,220 to the district through this year’s Employee Campaign.

Pledges and gifts to this campaign impact both the employee’s home campus through the campus rebate program, and the innovative education grants program. "The Foundation is proud to offer this 50/50 split so that campuses and departments can have an additional resource for schools and departmental funding needs," said Sitton.

An integral piece of the campaign’s success is the volunteer work done by 53 campus representatives throughout the district. Campus reps serve as ambassadors to promote this giving opportunity and share to with their respective team the impact of gifts made. Luci Schulz and Matthew Roser served as this year’s campaign co-chairs.

Foundation Assistant Director Christy Tarkington announced the top participating campuses. "A huge thank you to everyone for making this year’s campaign a huge success. And just as a reminder – the grant applications for the Innovative Education grant program are available now on the Foundation’s website," said Tarkington. "We look forward to hearing about the creative and innovative ideas our educators have to inspire student learning," Tarkington said. "Every gift is valued, and high employee participation is a testament that we believe in the Foundation’s mission, AND our district."
