The district received the top award for the “Humble High School Purple Pride” brochure highlighting Humble High School activities and courses. The “Get Outta’ My Goal!” sports photo also received a Best of Category award. The photo showcased a Summer Creek High School soccer player defending the goal. Also honored as Best in Category was the “Education Foundation 2015-2016 Employee Campaign: Follow the Yellow Brick Road.”

Humble ISD received a Crystal Certificate of Merit in the celebration category for “Legacy of Leadership: Celebrating Dr. Guy Sconzo.”  Gold Star Awards were awarded for the “Go Wild – Purple Pride!” photo featuring Humble High School students; “Dr. Guy Sconzo Tribute” video; and the Humble ISD “Uplift” electronic newsletter.

Four Silver Star Awards were earned for the “Best Large District in Texas” decal, “Humble ISD Communication Plan”, the “Twitter 101” presentation, and the Humble ISD website.  Bronze Star Awards were received for the “Humble ISD Emergency Response Guide”; the “Teacher of the Year - Inspiring Moments” video; the “State of Education” presentation; “Education Foundation 2015-2016: A Year in Review” video; and the “Prize Posse 2016” video.
