After successful fundraising efforts by Pine Forest Elementary PTA, Pine Forest Panther Parents and Primrose School of Atascocita, Pine Forest Elementary has replaced their 30-year-old marquee.
Before the ribbon cutting ceremony PTA President Jen Sitton and PFE Principal TJ Hall thanked the Pine Forest Panther family and community members for helping make this dream become a reality.
“This is truly a dream come true to have so many people come together over a period of time to raise and contribute funds to this awesome marquee,” TJ Hall, Pine Forest Elementary principal, said.
PFE PTA, Administration and Faculty set the ground work in 2012 to raise funds for this campus communication tool. The marquee quickly became a community project and 4 years later the new marquee will serve as a new landmark at the campus.
“We as a PTA are truly honored to be a part of bringing this amazing resource to our school community," Jen Sitton, Pine Forest Elementary PTA President, said. "It will allow the school to make parents and community members aware of the amazing things going on at Pine Forest Elementary."
The school marquee dedication ceremony was attended by Humble ISD leaders, former PFE staff, past and present PTA leaders, and current parents and students.
