Ross Sterling Middle School has been awarded $156,800 for no
less than three years and may be awarded funding for up to five years. This
grant award will impact the 2016-17, 2017-18, and 2018-19 school years with
funding potential for 2019-20 and 2020-21.

The grant will allow for a program called ACE (Afterschool Centers on Education) to be implemented at SMS, The campus grant goal is to provide after school enrichment services to 82 students and 40 families per year. The ACE program assists students in meeting academic standards in core subjects (math, reading, science, and social studies) by providing out-of-school time services to students and their families through community learning centers.
