Summerwood Elementary is building an addition to accommodate increased student enrollment in the southeast portion of the district, allowing the district to make boundary adjustments to balance out enrollment among schools in the southeast portion.

The addition includes 14 added classrooms, restrooms, collaboration space, storage, flex room and support space.

The south addition is projected to open August 2025; north addition is projected to open October 2025.
