Charles Street Stadium Renovations

Originally opened in 1941,  the Charles St. stadium served as the main playing field for Humble High School for 23 years. For the past several years, the stadium was being used by middle school football teams, boys/girls soccer teams, and Humble High School subvarsity teams. It had one restroom, one small concession stand and a single press box.

The new Charles Street Stadium opened in the fall of 2022.

Renovations included rebuilding the concession stand, ticket booth, restrooms, and adding storage for equipment and maintenance. A new field house with locker rooms was added, along with a press box, fencing, parking and stadium entrances with controlled access for entering guests. ADA compliant upgrades include bleachers and sidewalks.

Once again, Charles Street Stadium is home to Humble High School’s subvarsity football team, as well as football teams for Humble Middle and Ross Sterling Middle Schools. The facility will also continue to be the main venue for all Humble ISD soccer teams.
