C.M.S CHEER Try-Out Info:

1) All cheer and mascot candidates must complete and submit the following forms on or before February 28th, 2025 in order to be eligible to try out for cheerleader or mascot.

(Principal Evaluations will be submitted by coaches from the Try-Out Sign-In Sheet)

Cheer & Mascot Handbook Form

Attendance Policy signed by cheerleader candidate & parent/guardian

Humble I.S.D Student Athlete Policy Verification

2) All cheer and mascot candidates must have a current physical on file with the middle school athletic dept. to be eligible to participate in tryout practices and tryouts. Your physical MUST be on an Humble I.S.D Physical form.

3) Tryout Practices will be held in the gym on the following dates & times:

PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING DURING TRYOUT PRACTICE

February 28th, March 3rd, March 4th 4:30-6:00

4) Tryouts will be held in the main gym on the following date and times:

PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING DURING TRYOUTS!

March 5th Begin @ 4:30 pm

March 6th Begin @ 4:30 pm

Results will be posted on Schoology on Friday (March 7th) evening.

5) Other important information:

Uniform Fitting: March 18th (location/time TBD)
Mandatory Practice begins : Thursday, March 20th
Mandatory Cheer Camp: TBD End of July
Mandatory Back to School Practice: TBD
