100 Years in the Making
The district held a 100th Anniversary bash at Turners stadium on the evening of Saturday, February 16, 2019.
Joel Osteen, nationally-recognized pastor of Lakewood Church, was the guest speaker. Osteen graduated from Humble High School in 1981.

Other speakers included Humble Mayor Merle Aaron, State Representative Dan Huberty, and Humble ISD Superintendent Elizabeth Fagen.
Mayor Merle Aaron proclaimed the day as "Humble Independent 100th-Year Anniversary Day."
Representative Dan Huberty presented two resolutions: one on behalf of the Texas House of Representatives and the other from Governor Greg Abbott.

The Public Communications department made a video about Humble ISD's history which was shown on the big screen at the stadium.
After the formalities, Kingwood High School alumnus Gary Kyle and his band, The Kins, performed a concert.
The event culminated with a fireworks show.
A fireworks show began and capped off the event.
