Humble High School 9th Grade Campus opened for the 1993-1994 school-year. It was operated as an extension of Humble High School, but just for the 9th grade students. The school was located in the old Humble Middle School campus, located at 1131 Wilson Road in Humble.

The 9th Grade Campus closed at the end of the 2006-2007 school-year, and the 9th grade students returned to the main Humble High School campus.  After the 9th Grade campus closed at the end of the 2006-2007 school year, the building was renovated for use as Ross Sterling Middle School.
