Pine Forest Elementary School opened for the 1985-1986 school year.  

The school serves students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. 

The school colors are Red, Black and White.  The school mascot is the Panther.

The school motto is: "Set Sail for a Learning Adventure!"

The school is located at 19702 West Lake Houston Parkway, in Atascocita.
