Ross Sterling Middle School opened for the 2007-2008 school year.  The building was originally used as Humble Middle School from 1972 - 1993, and then as Humble High School Ninth Grade Campus in 1993.

The school serves students in 6th grade through 8th grade. 

The school colors are Navy Blue, Orange and White.  The school mascot is the Bearcat

The school is located at 1131 Wilson Road, in Humble.
