David Wiley Eckols, Sr.
David Wiley Eckols, Sr. was born on October 22, 1875. He originally came to Houston on a cattle drive from Fort Bend County. He married and eventually moved his family to Humble by wagon in 1906. He also worked as a grocer during the 1920s.
David Eckols served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28 for 2 1/2 years, from April 3, 1909 through November 11, 1911.
David Wiley Eckols, Sr. died on August 15, 1935.

James D. Eggers
James D. Eggers served on the Humble ISD School Board for 3 1/2 years. He was elected to Position 5 on May 15, 2004. He died during his time in office on December 18, 2007.

Brent M. Engelage
Brent M. Engelage graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1983 and has practiced as a Physical Therapist in Texas since 1985. He is an orthopedic Physical Therapist and manages an outpatient clinic in Conroe for Select Medical Corporation.
Mr. Engelage served on the School Board two times for a total of 10 years. He was first elected to Position 5 on May 10, 2008 and served 9 years before stepping down in May 2017. He served one more year when he was appointed to Position 3 in April 2020 to serve out the remainder of Angela Conrad's term.

He has served as the Chairman of the School Board’s Building and Planning Committee and has been a member of the Audit Committee and Technology & Data Governance Committees. Mr. Engelage has also served as the Texas Association of School Boards Delegate and as the Board's representative to the Kingwood Super Neighborhood Council.

Jack Milton Fields, Sr.
Jack Milton Fields, Sr. was born on November 11, 1924. He was the founder of Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery and Funeral Home in Humble. He served as a bombardier on a B-24 bomber during World War II. Mr. Fields graduated from the University of Houston in1948. He also served as President of the Humble Area Chamber of Commerce, Humble Intercontinental Rotary Club (1970-1971), and the Wildcat Club, as well as serving on the Board of Directors for the First City Bank of Humble. Mr. Fields was appointed by Texas Governor Bill Clements to serve a six-year term on the State's Educational Excellence Committee.
Jack M. Fields served on the Humble ISD School Board for nearly 22 years, having been first elected to Position 5 on March 4, 1967 and serving continuously until February 14, 1989.

Mr. Fields is the only School Board member to have an Humble ISD campus named for him (Jack M. Fields Elementary School).

Lynn Fields
Lynn Fields is a former journalist. She is a founder of the Bay Area Women's Center and has been the co-chair of fundraising for The Door, a shelter for battered women and their children.
Lynn Fields served on the Humble ISD School Board for 14 years. She was appointed to fill the unexpired term of Bob B. Berry in Position 7 on March 29, 1994. She was then elected to Position 7 on January 20, 1996 and served through May 10, 2008. Lynn again served from December 14, 2010 through May 14, 2011 to fill the unexpired term of Dan Huberty in Position 1.

Her father-in-law, Jack M. Fields, Sr., served on the Humble iSD School Board from March 1967 through February 1989.
Lynn Fields is a former Vice President of The Key, an auxiliary organization for The Door; and a committee member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She has been a member of Young Life - Humble committee, a member of the Lake Houston Shores Republican Women, and a board member of the North Harris Montgomery County Community College District Foundation.
Ms. Fields is an honorary member of the Mu Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma.
J. G. Frondolig
J. G. Frondolig served on the Humble ISD School Board for 2 years. He was elected to Position 4 on April 7, 1934 and resigned on February 7, 1936.
Carol Garner
Carol Garner served on the Humble ISD School Board for 1 year. She was elected to Position 4 on January 22, 1991 and served through February 11, 1992.
Carol is the wife of Phil Garner of the Houston Astros.

Carl Lycester Gilbert
Carl Lycester Gilbert was born on June 19, 1922. He served in World War II in the Army Air Corps, and worked for Sears.
Carl L. Gilbert served on the Humble ISD School Board for 2 years. He was elected to Position 1 on May 4, 1954 and serving through January 3, 1956.
Carl Lycester Gilbert died on February 12, 2015.
Dr. Jane M. Goldstein McCarthy
Dr. Jane M. Goldstein worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at Rice University.
Dr. Jane M. Golstein (McCarthy) served on the Humble ISD School Board for 8 years. She was first appointed to fill the unexpired term of Eric Brewster in Position 4 on April 20, 1981. She was then elected to Position 4 on January 19, 1982 and served through February 14, 1989.

Michael Grabowski
Mike is a pilot for United Airlines, with over 30 years of experience. He is an Air Force Academy graduate and spent nine years as an F-15 pilot and T-38 instructor. He has an MBA from Webster University.
His family includes his wife Chandra, who is a Bear Branch Elementary School teacher; daughter Rainey, who is a Kingwood High School student; daughter Veronica and son Michael Grabowski II, both adults; and five grandchildren.
Mike is Chairman of the Retirement & Insurance Council with United, an active Law Enforcement Participant, and member of the Kingwood Country Club Athletic Committee. He was formerly a member of the Board of Directors of the Nevada Tennis Association for 10 years.
Mike serves on the Audit Committee and the Humble ISD Education Foundation Board.

John B. Graves
John B. Graves was the Vice-President of AON Consulting, and had 30 years experience as an employee benefits consultant.
John B. Graves served on the Humble ISD School Board for over 21 years, having been elected to Position 2 on January 19, 1985 and served continuously until May 13, 2006.

W. E. Gray
Prior to serving on the school board, W. E. Gray served as the Mayor of Humble (1945-1947). He was owner of the W. E. Gray Lumber Company.
W. E. Gray served on the Humble ISD School Board over 18 years. He was elected to Position 4 on April 8, 1946 and served continuously until November 10, 1964.

D. P. Green
D. P. Green served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28, which was one of the predecessors to the Humble Independent School District.
He served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28 for 1 year, from 1899 through 1900.
Roy Martin Haley
Roy Martin Haley was born on December 28, 1903.
Roy M. Haley served on the Humble ISD School Board two different times. The first time he served for 5 months in Position 5. He was elected on April 3, 1937 and resigned on September 7, 1937.
The second time was for 6 months. He was elected to Position 5 on May 6, 1952 and resigned on November 4, 1952.
He worked for Texas Pipeline for 44 years, and was a member of the Humble Rotary Club and the HUmble Masonic Lodge.
Roy Martin Haley died on February 2, 1994.

James William Hall
James William Hall was born on December 7, 1868. He ran a hardware and furniture store in downtown Humble. He was a Harris County Commissioner starting in 1908.
J. W. Hall served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28 for 6 years, from 1908 through 1914.
A diligent public servant, J. W. Hall also served as a state representative (1919-1922, 1925-1926), as a state senator (1927-1928), and as the tax assessor for Harris County (1935). He was responsible for the construction of the Houston-Humble Road (now primarily known as Old Humble Road).
James William Hall died on October 15, 1943.
W. F. Hall
W. F. Hall served on the Humble ISD School Board for 1 year. He was appointed to serve out the unexpired term of George A. Martin in Position 7 on March 3, 1931. He was then elected on April 4, 1931 and served through April 2, 1932.

A. G. Harrison
A. G. Harrison served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28 for 3 years, from April 5, 1913 through 1915.
In 1918, Districts No. 28 and No. 35 were combined into District No. 50. In February 1919, District No. 50 was transformed into the Humble Independent School District.
A. G. Harrison served on the Humble ISD School Board for 7 months, when he was appointed to finish out the term of Jimmie K. Alton in Position 4. Mr. Harrison was appointed on September 15, 1933 and served through April 7, 1934.
Lee Hartley
Lee Hartley served on the Humble ISD School Board for 3 years. He was elected to Position 6 on April 2, 1932 and served through April 11, 1935.

Kelley Leon Hawes
Kelley Leon Haws was born on November 6, 1918.
Kelley Haws served on the Humble ISD School Board for 3 1/2 years, having started on March 4, 1958 to fill the unexpired term of Olcy Paul Thames in Position #2. He served continuously until he resigned on August 15, 1961, where his unexpired term was filled by Olcy Paul Thames.
Kelley Leon Haws died on September 11, 1998.
B. S. Herring
B. S. Herring B. S. Herring served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28, which was one of the predecessors to the Humble Independent School District. He served on the School Board for Harris County Common School District No. 28 for 5 years, from 1908 through 1916.
Ellis Herron
Ellis Herron was born on June 18, 1891. He served in World War I in France in the ammunition train of the 30th Division. He also served as the first President of the Humble Chamber of Commerce. He worked in the oil fields, and later raised cattle in the Humble area.
Ellis Herron served on the board two different times. He first served on the School Board in Position 3 for 3 years, starting on April 4, 1931 and serving continuously through April 7, 1934.
He then served again on the Humble ISD School Board in Position 5 for 14 years, having started on September 7, 1937 and served continuously until May 6, 1952.

Ellis Lee Herron
Ellis Lee Herron was born in Humble on April 21, 1929. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Business from Sam Houston State University, and a Masters Degree of Arts Degree in Agriculture from Sam Houston State University. He taught for over thirty years in the Houston Independent School District. He was also co-owner of Humble Flower Shop.
Ellis Lee Herron served on the Humble ISD School Board for 9 years. He was elected to Position 3 on April 9, 1963 and served continuously until April 3, 1972.

He was a Chaplain for the American Legion Lodge #232, a member of the Humble Masonic Lodge and the Humble Chamber of Commerce, and was director of Rainbow Girls. He served in the United State Navy during the Korean conflict as a Medical Corpsman for the U. S. Marines. He also served as a Sunday school teacher.
His father, Ellis Herron, also served on the Humble ISD School Board, from April 1931 through May 1952.
Ellis Lee Herron died on January 12, 2020.

Jesse Monroe Hester
Jesse Monroe Hester was elected to Position 5 the Humble ISD School Board on May 19, 2021. He served for two years, until June 2, 1923.
He served as the Mayor of Humble from 1935 until 1939.

Marques A. Holmes
Marques is a Telecom Infrastructure Management Consultant across South Texas and Louisiana. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and has several certifications in leadership training and development. His family includes his wife Krystal and their two children, Major, who is attending West Lake Middle School and Kamille, a graduate of Howard University and Atascocita High School.
Marques is a Board Member of the Global Outreach Community Church. He is a former Board Member for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a founding member of The John Maxwell Coaching and Training Certification, a member of Leadership Houston Class XXVIII and a member of Leadership Lake Houston, Class X. Marques enjoys being a volunteer coach for youth sports and does leadership training for students.
Marques serves on the Advocacy Committee, Building and Planning Committee, and is the TASB Alternate Annual Meeting representative.

Daniel G. Huberty
Daniel G. Huberty is a native of Parma in Cuyahoga County east of Cleveland in northern Ohio. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Cleveland State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. He served as the Vice President for Business Development for Clean Energy Fuels, and also as an Executive Vice-President for a large parking company.
Daniel G. Huberty served on the Humble ISD School Board for 4 1/2 years. He was elected to Position 1 on May 13, 2006 and served through December 14, 2010. He resigned his School Board position after winning election to office as a Texas State Representative.

Dan Huberty was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 2010 as the Representative for District 127, which includes Kingwood, Atascocita, and Humble.
Daniel G. Huberty has been on the Board member of the "Be an Angel" Foundation, and has been active in the Humble Rotary, the Knights of Columbus, the Humble Chamber of Commerce, and the Kingwood Chamber of Commerce.
George Wesley Hunt
G. W. Hunt was born 27 April 1895. He served on the Humble ISD School Board in Position 3 for 6 years, having started on April 7, 1934 and served continuously until April 8, 1940.
