Shadow Forest Elementary School opened on August 16, 1993, for the 1993-1994 school-year.  

The school serves students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. 

The school colors are Blue and Green.  The school mascot is the Shark.

The school motto is "We Teach the Way Each Child Learns!"

The school is located at 2300 Mills Branch Drive, in Kingwood.
