Area Track Meet Information

Schedule & Information for the 23-6A & 24-6A  Area Track & Field Meet 

This track & field meet will be held on Friday, April 11th. Saturday, April 12 will be the bad weather make-up day. The track meet will be held at the Turner Stadium 1700 Wilson Rd. Humble, TX 77396.  Please review the information below.

  • We will use MileSplit to enter the online entries for the track meet. Head Coaches should have already received an email with the direct link to enter their athletes. Please contact Jana Williams at 832-526-8559 or  jwillia@humbleisd.net if you have not received your direct link or have any problems with your entries. The following deadline must be met:

UIL 6A - Area 23 & 24

BY TUESDAY, APRIL 8TH, 2025, AT 5:00 PM                                                  

  • Throwing and horizontal jumps will have three attempts. In addition, you have to have one legal throw or jump within the first three attempts to make it to the final. Once we reach the finals, we will reorder the athletes in reverse according to the prelim results and conduct the finals (three attempts). All six attempts will count for the final results.

  • The running events will follow the UIL order. Please take a look at the 23-6A & 24-6A Area Track & Field Meet schedule.

2025 23-6A & 24-6A AREA MEET SCHEDULE

  • All races will be timed by Mike Takaha - Flash Results Texas. The results will be posted live at https://live.flashresultstexas.com/meet-list. The final results will also be emailed to all head coaches.

  •  Buses: after dropping your athletes off at the visitor gate, buses will be parked in the visitor parking lot at Turner Stadium. Click the link and see the map.

TRACK AND FIELD ENTRY FORM

  • Each school will be responsible for running off a field event. The head coach and lead person will be responsible for bringing ALL of their workers.

  • The field and running awards will be presented directly after the event finishes. We will drape field event medals at the event location and the top 3 competitors will then report to the medal stand to be recognized. The medal stand is located in the middle of the football field. 

  • In order to file a protest of an official ruling, the following guidelines must be followed: All protests of a referee's decision must be submitted in writing to the Meet Director. The protest must be filed within 30 minutes following the official posting of results.  

  • Implement weigh-in begins at 7:30 and can be located on the backside of the visitor's bleachers on the South end. The implements will be impounded and brought to the competition area. Weigh-in will close 45 minutes prior to each throwing event. Upon completion of each throwing event, implements will be immediately transported back to the weigh-in area where they may be picked up. 

  • We do not anticipate any bad weather, but if we do encounter it, we will put all 24-6A schools underneath the visitor side of Turner Stadium & all 23-6A schools underneath the Home side of Turner Stadium. Updates will be communicated via our Stadium Announcer and our @HumbleISD Twitter.

  • We have secured the services of meet officials for our Area Track & Field Meet. Their assignments for this meet are as follows:

    • Inspector of Implements: Kaye Griggs & Triney Kadura
