Kingwood Ag Barn
New Kingwood Ag Barn and Upgrades
On November 15, 2018, Humble ISD closed on seven acres of land that will be the site for the new Kingwood Ag Barn. The target opening for the new Ag Barn is 2021.
The current location serves the northern portion of the district, but has flooded multiple times. Rebuilding the northern Ag Barn on the new property will mitigate evacuating animals every time there is a threat of severe flooding.
The southern Ag Barn will also be upgraded to have features similiar to those of the new Kingwood Ag Barn.
Humble ISD officials had a groundbreaking ceremony for the new North Ag Barn on Friday, November 6, 2020.
