Adjustment to Tier 1 Basic-HD Deducible

Due to a recent change by the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) pertaining to health insurance deductibles for HSA eligible plans, a change is necessary to the upcoming plan year deductiblesfor the Tier 1 Basic HD (Hermann Memorial) Plan.

Effective 9/1/2023 the deductible for the Tier 1 Basic HD (Memorial Hermann) Plan will increase as follows:

• Individual deductible will increase from $1,400 to $1,500, a $100 change.

• Family deductible will increase from $2,800 to $3,000, a $200 change.

Again, this change only applies to the Tier 1 Basic HD (Memorial Hermann) plan.
