Humble ISD is one of the fastest growing school districts in Texas. Covering 90 square miles, Humble ISD enrolls approximately 37,000 students and employs more than 5,000 teachers and support staff. Many people do not think of their local school district as a major business, but often a school district is the largest employer in their area, with a substantial budget that contributes millions of dollars back into the community through payroll, utility services, fuel, facilities maintenance, security, food service, construction, and many other areas.
