Reliable internet is an important tool for Humble ISD students. If your family is needing internet service, below are multiple low cost options available.
Park & Learn: You can park at any Humble ISD school parking lot and connect to the school's wifi. This is a FREE wifi for students to use. Families may park at the parking lot after school hours and on the weekends.
AT&T: AT&T is providing eligible households low cost internet for $10/mo. or less. They also have multiple programs to assist families during these times.
Comcast: Comcast is taking immediate steps to make it easier to connect low-income families to home internet. As their website states, “New Internet Essentials customers will receive two free months of Internet service.” Xfinity WiFi hotspots in out-of-home locations are also available for free to anyone who needs them, including non-Xfinity Internet customers, to keep our communities connected with their friends and family.
Cricket Wireless: Cricket Wireless is adding data to current customers and new customers to help during this time. They have various plans for families to pick from.
Spectrum: Spectrum is offering a high-speed internet program to eligible low-income families. To qualify, one member of the household must be part of the Nation School Lunch Program. Spectrum is also providing help to families in need. Check out their site here to see the available assistance.
Suddenlink & Optimum: Suddenlink is offering Altice Advantage Internet, a program for low-cost internet plans or low-cost laptops. You may qualify for Altice Advantage Internet if a member of your household is eligible for or participates in the National School Lunch Program or receives Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and 65 years of age or older; or a veteran and receive state or federal public assistance.
Verizon: Verizon is offering high-speed internet at low cost for families through its Lifeline Discount Program
