Why join?

Membership Requirements:

Must be a current KHS sophomore or junior under NORMAL REQUIREMENTS
Seniors MAY join as first time members but will be require to EARN DOUBLE POINTS to maintain good standing
Must have attended KHS for at least one semester or have been a verified member at a previous campus
Must have completed two previous semesters of English
Minimum overall grade average of 3.5/4.0
Minimum English grade average of 3.5/4.0
Can be taking any level of English to join (on-level, Pre-AP, or AP)

Member Responsibilities:

Members must attend NEHS meetings; you can only miss ONE meeting per semester.
Required to obtain 5 points per semester to remain in good standing or 10 points for seniors joining in their senior year
Points are obtained through participation in club-sponsored activities

Dues:

Members must pay $35 the year of induction
dues contribute toward chapter affiliation fees, t-shirts, and chapter activities
