KPHS was founded in 2007 and had its first graduating class in 2010. Kingwood Park offers a unique thematic house concept to promote a more personalized learning environment. The school is a comprehensive, four-year public high school where the curriculum is primarily college preparatory.

Class Rank

Rank is determined by adding all grade points earned in grades 9 through the third nine weeks of the senior year. Transfer students receive credit for honors courses taken elsewhere if Humble ISD offers that course as honors. Honors, advanced placement, and gifted/talented classes carry one grade point higher on the grading scale than level courses.
