The dual credit enrollment process below is required for courses offered through Lone Star and San Jacinto College. SCHS Dual Credit Course Offerings can be found in the FAQ section of this page.

Complete the Dual Credit enrollment process (Step 1 - 3) for Lone Star and San Jacinto once your counselor has approved your courses.

SUMMER 2025: Visit the Humble ISD DCSA Website for detailed information about the academy.

- SECOND: Start the Dual Credit Enrollment Process below & meet all deadlines.

Students must log into MyHumble to view and submit the Step 1 & Step 3 Google Forms.

Step 1: Apply Texas & College ID Submission [View & Submit Form]

Apply to San Jac or Lone Star College by going to applytexas.org (use a personal email address to create your account). Use our Step 1 Form found on our SC Dual Credit webpage to complete your application and to later submit your G# to us. The Step 1 Form includes an ApplyTx helpful doc. It takes up to 2 business days to receive your Then submit your College ID # to the SCHS DC Team to notify us that you have completed Step 1.

DCSA/SUMMER 2025: Returning San Jac students who did not enroll in a San Jac Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 DC course will keep the same G# but need to reapply for Summer 2025.

It takes up to 2-3 days to receive your ID# - please submit your ID# to us on the Step 1 form when you receive it.

Step 2: Meet Dual Credit Testing Requirements

In order to register for Dual Credit courses, we will determine if you need to register for the Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) or verify TSIA2 exemption. We will notify you if you need to take the TSIA2, after you submit the Step 1 Form above.See the chart below for the required college readiness scores.

TEST PREP: Free Shmoop Test Prep is provided by the district for all 9th-12th grade students! Login to SHMOOP through MyHumble.

Step 3: Submit the Dual Credit EA Form [View & Submit Form]

This step needs to be submitted after Step 1 and Step 2 are complete. 

San Jac Courses:
Complete the San Jacinto Enrollment Form SanJac EA Form & SanJac Meningitis Waiver for online courses (meningitis how-to doc).

San Jac BIOL 2401/2101 Students must have the meningitis vaccine or submit a Meningitis Exemption for Reasons of Conscience since the lab portion is on the San Jac campus.

Lone Star Courses:
Complete the Lone Star College Exceptional Admission Form (LSC EA Form).

Dual Credit Course Payments

Pay for San Jac Courses
The San Jac courses will cost $108 for 3 credit hrs and $144 for 4 credit hrs. Course fees will be payable through the San Jac SOS. First-time SOS users must claim their account after receiving their G# from San Jac.


Pay for your LSC Courses
Please log in to your MyLonestar account, click on “Student'' and click on “Financial Account” to check your balance and make a payment (how to make a payment online). Dual Credit course fees have increased to $129 per 3 credit hour course and $172 per 4 credit course beginning with the Fall 2024 semester. Please ensure that your waiver has been applied before making your payment. If your waiver has not been applied, KC-DualCredit@lonestar.edu

TSIA2 Registration Options & Instructions

There are three options to register for TSIA2. Step 1 above (Apply TX & College ID) must be completed before you can take TSIA2 at a college. Free Shmoop Test Prep is provided by the district for all 9th-12th grade students!

Monday - Wednesday: 8:30 AM -3:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Feb. 25, March 4, & March 25: Open until 7:00 PM on these Tuesday Nights.

Testing Request is Needed to test at San Jac. No Walk-In testing available. View their Testing Flyer.

4. TSIA2 testing is free the first time for Dual Credit students.
5. Email or drop off your passing TSIA2 test scores in the library.

Lone Star College-Kingwood (LSC ID# Needed)

1. Make an appointment to test - click here to schedule your exam. Walk-in testing is based on availability, so you may not be able to test without an appointment.
2. First time test takers: Complete the College Board TSIA2 Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) and Print your PAA certificate. Note: use your personal email to create an account. 
3. Arrive at LSC before your appointment time to check in. If walking-in, arrive at least 3 hours before closing; take your PAA certificate, DL or ID, and your Lone Star ID # 
4. Walk-ins: Meet with an LSC Advisor to receive a testing referral
5. TSIA2 testing is free the first time for Dual Credit students; Retesting is $10 per section
6. Email or drop off your passing TSIA2 test scores in the library.

Seniors:
Testing is also available at the college or university you plan to attend. You must have a college ID# to register for testing. Search for your college's testing center to learn when they offer testing and their testing procedures.
