Art 1 General Grades 9-12 (5705)

Prerequisite - None

1 Credit

This course allows students to explore the art elements for line, shape, value, texture, color, form and space. Fee $50.00

Art-Drawing II Grades 10-12 ( 5711)

Prerequisite - Art 1

1 Credit

Advanced design and drawing-related skill development. Traditional drawing as well as experimental design techniques using wet and dry media.  Additional supplies may be needed. Fee $60.00

Art-Drawing III Grades 11-12 ( 5721)

Prerequisite - Art II

1 Credit

This course is designed for the serious art student who is interested in developing a portfolio. Advanced design and drawing-related skill development. Traditional drawing as well as experimental design techniques using wet and dry media.  Additional supplies may be needed. Fee $60.00

Art Drawing IV Grade 12 (5724)

Prerequisite - Art III

1 Credit

Designed for the highly advanced art student to explore and create difficult complex drawing problems. Additional supplies may be needed. Fee $60.00

Art- Painting II Grade 10-12 (5712)

Prerequisite - Art 1

1 Credit

Designed for the serious art student who is interested in developing a portfolio.  Advanced level drawings using a wide variety of subjects. Art history, aesthetics and criticisms included. Additional supplies may be needed.  Fee $60.00

Art- Painting III Grade 11-12 (5722)

Prerequisite - Painting  II

1 Credit

Designed for the serious art student who is interested in developing a portfolio.  Teacher will work with each student  pursuing a particular interest or subject.  Students will use wet and dry  media. Additional supplies may be needed.  Fee $60.00

Art Painting IV Grade 12 (5724)

Prerequisite - Painting III

1 Credit

This is for the highly advanced art student to explore and create difficult and complex artworks utilizing advanced painting techniques. Additional supplies may be needed.  Fee $60.00

Art Sculpture II Grade 10-12 (5713)

Prerequisite - Art 1

Designed for the serious art student who is interested in developing a portfolio.  Advanced level drawings using a wide variety of subjects. Art history, aesthetics and criticisms included. Additional supplies may be needed.  Fee $60.00

Art Sculpture III Grade 10-12 (5723)

Prerequisite - Art Sculpture II

1 Credit

Will use three-dimensional design in additive and subtractive processes. Focus is on individual style.

Teacher will work with each student pursuing a particular interest or subject.  Additional supplies may be needed.  Fee $60.00

Art Sculpture IV Grade 12 (5725)

Prerequisite - Art Sculpture III

1 Credit

This is for the highly advanced art student  to explore and create difficult complex art works using three-dimensional design techniques. Additional supplies may be needed. Fee $60.00

Art Drawing- Advanced Placement Grades 11-12 (5733)

Prerequisite - Drawing II and Painting II

1 Credit- Honors Grade Points

This is a college level course requiring students to produce a portfolio of 14 to 20 original drawings including painting and drawing experiments that demonstrate advanced techniques using a variety of styles. This course is fast paced and rigorous and may lead to college credit. Fee $85.00

Art- Two Dimensional Design Portfolio - Advance Placement (5734) Grade 11-12

Prerequisite- Drawing II or Painting III

1 Credit

College level course requires students to produce a portfolio of numerous original works of art intended to address a very broad interpretation of two-dimensional design issues. A variety of approaches, abstraction, and expression may be part of the student's portfolio. Fee $85.00
