Sat., July 27: Freshman Orientation at SCHS from 8 am to 1 pm
Incoming freshmen and new students to SCHS are welcome to attend this come-and-go event. There will be several optional informative sessions to attend, tours of SCHS, clubs and organizations to join, and SCHS merchandise to purchase.

Order a Class of 2028 T-Shirt: You can still order a Class of 2028 T-Shirt for August delivery! Place your order by August 16 through RevTrak. Students will be notified about shirt distribution after sales close on August 16.
Friday, August 2: Students' schedules are viewable in the Home Access Center (HAC) this evening. Log in here to access your schedule.
Sun., Aug. 4: Walk Your Schedule from 12 - 2 pm
Informal, less crowded opportunity to walk your schedule and get more familiar with SCHS and your class locations. Your class schedule will be viewable in HAC on the evening of August 2 - please make sure you can log into HAC prior to that day. Limited staff will be present (counselors and teachers will not be in attendance).
Wed., Aug. 7: First Day of School
7:15-2:55. If you are a car rider, please leave early. Traffic is even heavier in the first week. All students will report their first-period class listed in HAC.
Know your BUS and Route number. Make sure you review these bus instructions on how to find your bus at dismissal.
Please use the Parent Drop-Off link to view a map of designated drop-off areas for car riders.
Drop-off lines on the first few days of school will be longer than normal so please arrive early.
Thurs., Aug. 15: Open House at SCHS from 6 - 8 pm
Come and go event to meet your teachers.

Dress Code
As you prepare to school shop for the school year, please know that students will not be allowed to wear shirts/tops that display any mid-drift (stomach) per Humble ISD policy. Hoods, hats, head coverings, and sunglasses are also not allowed per district policy. These dress-code items will be strictly enforced during the upcoming school year. Thank you for helping us to maintain our focus on student learning and academic success!
School Supplies
Supplies needed for courses will be communicated to students by their teachers. There are no grade level school supply lists in high school. Students should bring paper and pencil/pen to write with.
Free & Reduced Application - Apply Now
All families must apply to qualify for free and reduced meals this school year. The USDA waiver that funded free meals for all students has ended. It is critical for families to complete the annual application this school year in order to qualify for free and reduced meals. Visit the Free & Reduced webpage for more information.
