Military Service Academies 

Most US Service Academies require a nomination from  your congressmen and women, preferably during the spring of your Junior year or earlier. To determine who are your representatives go to Representatives and type in your address and zip code.

It is recommended to begin the process of applying to Service Academies in the Fall of your Junior Year. Except for The Coast Guard, nominations are required.
