Improvement Plans
Humble ISD's District and Campus Improvement Plans (DIP) are prepared annually in accordance with requirements of Chapter 11, Subchapter F, of the Texas Education Code, specifically §11.251 and §11.252. These requirements are also contained in Humble ISD policies BQ (Legal); BQA (Legal); and BQB (Legal).
Each school district shall have a district improvement plan that is developed, evaluated, and revised annually, in accordance with district policy, by the Superintendent with the assistance of the district-level committee. Humble ISD's District Decision-Making Committee (DDM) meets annually to review, evaluate and provide input on revisions of the district's improvement plan. The DDM is made up of a variety of stakeholders, including, but not limited to, parents, teachers, administrators, instructional paraprofessionals, business partners, community members, students, and other school staff.
The purpose of the district improvement plan is to guide district and campus staff on the improvement of student performance for all student groups in order to attain state standards with respect to academic excellence indicators.
