Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading program for students in Humble ISD grades 6-8. The purpose is to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers.

Students who want to participate must turn in a signed permission form to Ms. Oliver, commit to reading their assigned books, attending meetings/practices (team will agree on day and time) and if their team advances to the finals, attending the competition that will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, 10-12, at WMS.

Students will have the option to purchase a team shirt ($10.00) for the competition. The student may purchase a copy of the books they are assigned, but it is not a requirement.
