Students who ranked in the Top 10 at Humble ISD's 6 high schools for the Class of 2024 were headed to: Alabama, Baylor, Blinn College, Georgia, Houston, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Purdue, Rice, Stanford, St. Catherine University, Swarthmore College, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Texas State, United States Air Force Academy, United States Military Academy, University of Texas at San Antonio and Yale. 

Academic Achievements

  • Humble ISD graduated 3,487 students as a part of the Class of 2024

  • Class of 2024 Graduates were awarded more than $20 million in scholarships

  • In Spring of 2024, 1,527 Humble ISD juniors opted-in to take the SAT. The mean total score was 1046 out of a 1600. The State of Texas average was 953 and the national average was 1007.

  • Humble ISD universally tests all juniors on the ACT, which totaled 3,650 testers. The average composite score was 18.7. The state and national average has not been released at this time. 

  • Humble ISD had 29 students recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation for the 2024-2025 school year. 3 were National Merit Finalists.

Athletic Achievements

2024-2025

  • Summer Creek girls basketball won Humble ISD's first-ever State Championship in the sport. The Lady Bulldogs defeated Cibolo Steele to advance to the Class 6A Division I State Championship game. Summer Creek went on to defeat Cedar Hill 52-49 to win the State Championship.

  • Atascocita High School's John Simmons won the Class 6A State Championship in the 100-yard backstroke. He won the race with a time of 47.11 seconds. The 12-time All-American is going to Texas A&M to continue his swimming career.

  • Kingwood Park won the 2025 UIL Spirit COED State Championship. This marked the first-ever UIL Spirit State Championship in Humble ISD history.

  • Summer Creek Football reached the State Semifinals for a second-straight season. The Bulldogs finished the season 12-3 overall.

2023-2024

  • Atascocita boys track & field team brought home the Class 6A State Championship in May. It was the first team title in program history.

  • Summer Creek became the first football team in the 105-year-history of Humble ISD to reach the UIL State Championship game. The Bulldogs finished as the State Runner-Up with a record of 14-2.

  • Summer Creek girls basketball returned to the State Tournament for the second time in the last three seasons in 2024. The Lady Bulldogs finished as State Semifinalists with a record of 35-4.

  • Kingwood High School softball reached the UIL State Softball Tournament for the first time since 2013. The Mustangs won 23-straight games, including sweeping No. 1 nationally-ranked Katy High School to reach the state tournament. Kingwood finished the year 36-8 overall and State Semifinalists. Individually,

  • Summer Creek’s Brianna Rivers won gold in the Class 6A high jump event, clearing 5-feet-7-inches at the UIL State Track & Field Meet. The Summer Creek girls 4x400-meter relay team also won gold.

Humble ISD Winter Signing Day 2025

Humble ISD has hosted two of its three National Signing Day events in the 2024-2025 school year.

Thus far, Humble ISD has celebrated 84 student-athletes who have signed to play at the collegiate level.

Athletes signed to colleges including:

  • University of Georgia

  • University of Oklahoma

  • University of Southern California (USC)

Humble ISD had more than 130 student-athletes sign to play at the collegiate level during the 2023-2024 school year.

Humble High School is home to the International Baccalaureate Academy. The IB Academy is a 4-year, world-class college preparatory program where students are challenged to become independent thinkers through a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes the global and connected nature of learning.

Career and technical education programs offer a sequence of courses that provides students with coherent and rigorous content. CTE content is aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in current or emerging professions.

Summer Creek Starlettes

Fine Arts in Humble ISD enjoy a rich tradition of success and community involvement. Every student in Humble participates in Fine Arts during their academic career. We are dedicated as a district to providing the highest quality Fine Arts Programs available for our students and will continue to seek out new ways to grow and develop the Fine Arts in our Community.

In our District we currently offer a multitude of courses in the following areas of study: Elementary Music, Art, Choir, Orchestra, Band, Theatre, Dance

2024-2025 Accomplishments

  • 12 Humble ISD band, choir and orchestra students earned Texas Music Educators Association All-State honors

  • Shadow Forest Elementary fifth grader Millie Pendleton’s piece “Cool Hues on a Rosy Background” and Kingwood Middle School seventh grader Arabella Ramirez’s piece “Luna” were selected for the 2025 Texas Youth Art Month Exhibition.

2023-2024 Accomplishments

  • 19 Humble ISD band, choir and orchestra students earned Texas Music Educators Association All-State honors.

  • The Kingwood High School Mighty Mustang Military Marching Band finished as the UIL State Military Marching Band Class runner-up in 2023.

  • Summer Creek High School’s Angelica Medina and Kingwood High School’s Paris Howard brought home Gold Seal and State Championship honors at the 2024 High School State Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE).
