You are invited to a building dedication for Guy M. Sconzo Early College High School on Saturday, September 18, at 9155 Will Clayton Parkway in Humble.
The program includes a ceremony at 3 p.m. celebrating the impact of Dr. Sconzo on our school district, community, and public education. Dr. Sconzo served as Humble ISD Superintendent from 2001 to 2016. He passed away April 21, 2020, after battling cancer.
The Humble ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously at the Dec. 8, 2020, School Board meeting to rename Quest Early College High School in memory of Dr. Sconzo.
SECHS students will offer tours of the new campus before and after the ceremony, from 2 to 4 p.m. on September 18.
