Humble ISD has been named the top school district for Heart Walk fundraising in the State of Texas, as well as the top company fundraiser for the Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk by the American Heart Association for 2021. Humble ISD teams raised a total of $30,858 for this year’s Heart Walk.
Hundreds of Humble ISD staff, students and families stepped up this year to participate. The Heart Walk, held Saturday, Oct. 30, at Lone Star College-Kingwood, is an annual event that raises awareness of heart disease and stroke.
