Representatives with Harris County MUD 278 presented a $25,000 check to River Pines Elementary during the June 21 meeting of the Humble ISD Board of Trustees.

“Humble ISD is fortunate to have community partners who wrap themselves around our schools, our students, and our teachers so that our children can receive the very best educational experiences,” Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Fagen said.

The Harris County MUD 278 encompasses approximately 1230 acres of land within the boundaries of Humble ISD and is located along Atascocita Road and Will Clayton Parkway. Created in 1985 by order of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Harris County MUD 278 operates water, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities to serve its residents.
