Humble ISD students involved in athletics and fine arts came together on Friday, December 9, 2022 to help “Fill the Bus”.
The Humble ISD Fill The Bus event was a partnership with Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM) to collect toys for their Empty Stockings Toy Drive to help make the holidays brighter for students in need this holiday season.
On Friday, high school students helped load their respective buses on campus before being driven around to area middle schools to pick up their toy donations. Once loaded up, the buses drove to the Light of the World Christian Fellowship to have the gifts unloaded.
Approximately 300 families will be helped by the donations gathered around Humble ISD.
The church will host a shopping event on December 14 where these gifts will be distributed to families in need to help make their holidays a bit brighter.
