Humble ISD celebrated its latest class of retiring employees at the annual Retirement Ceremony held on May 16, 2023, at the Humble Civic Center. The event honored those in attendance with dinner catered by Monterey’s Little Mexico Restaurant and musical entertainment from the Kingwood High School Chamber Orchestra. Retirees also received a clock, a plaque, and a certificate of appreciation.
This year’s retiree class represents 85 retirees with over 2,100 combined years of service in education. The following are those who reached notable status given their 40+ total service years in their particular field in education or have served their entire professional career only with Humble ISD for 30+ years:
