School members elected for the 2023-2027 term were sworn in at the June 13, 2023, School Board meeting.
Former Congressman Ted Poe administered the oath of office to Robert Scarfo, who was re-elected to Position 2 on the School Board.
State Rep. Charles Cunningham administered the oath of office to Marques Holmes, who was elected to Position 6 on the School Board. Mr. Holmes was first appointed to the position in 2021 through an application process when Trustee Lori Twomey moved out of state.
Mike Grabowski, who was newly-elected to Position 7, was administered the oath of office by Executive Secretary to the Board of Trustees Karen Martin.
Also serving on the School Board are Robert Sittion, Position 1; Chris Parker, Position 3; Ken Kirchhofer, Position 4; and Martina Lemond Dixon, Position 5.
Named as 2023-2024 School Board officers were President Robert Scarfo, Vice President Chris Parker, Secretary Ken Kirchhofer, and Parliamentarian Robert Sitton.
