In honor of the one-year anniversary of the new Kingwood Middle School opening its doors, Texas State Representative Charles Cunningham presented the campus with a Texas flag during the August 8, 2023 Humble ISD School Board Meeting.
Representative Cunningham presented the flag, which flew over the State Capitol, to Principal Michael Curl, teacher Kelly Wells and students Savannah Hadley and Ben Pagano of Kingwood Middle School. Also photographed with the Kingwood Middle School representatives are Humble ISD School Board President Robert Scarfo, Board Member Martina Lemond Dixon and Humble ISD Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Fagen.
