Humble ISD Education Foundation Sets New Records with $1.3 Million in Donations to Humble ISD

In Humble ISD, the spirit of innovation in education thrives year after year and the 2022-2023 school year was no exception. 

On Tuesday, September 12, the Humble ISD Education Foundation presented its annual report for the year during the monthly Humble ISD School Board Meeting, celebrating the financial contribution of $1,327,490 to support Humble ISD educators and students during the 2022-2023 previous school year—a remarkable 31% increase from the year before. 

With this donation, the Foundation's total support for Humble ISD has reached an impressive $17.3 million. This financial milestone is now transforming lives and shaping futures throughout the district. Click here to see how the Foundation is supporting innovation in Humble ISD. 

This fundraising achievement is the result of a collective effort from a community that wants the best for the students of Humble ISD. From dedicated school board members volunteering their time to the superintendent, educators, custodial staff, transportation teams, , all of whom demonstrate their commitment to educational excellence every day. . . this success is a testament to the power of teamwork.

In the 2022-2023 school year, the Foundation had several  record-breaking achievements on multiple fronts. An impressive $244,900 was dedicated to student scholarships, providing deserving students with opportunities to pursue their dreams. In addition, the Foundation’s golf tournament had its highest grossing and highest net return on their 2022 golf tournament.  The Foundation looks forward to breaking that record again at their 2023 golf tournament on November 6th at Golf Clubs of Houston. 

The Foundation ended their fiscal year by breaking yet another record.  The Foundation awarded an unprecedented $324,478 through the Innovative Education grants program, empowering Humble ISD educators to explore creative teaching methods – the most ever given during Prize Posse since its inception.
