The community is invited to review and provide feedback on instructional materials that Humble ISD is considering for adoption under Proclamation 2024. The materials include Science K-12, Personal Financial Literacy and Economics, and select Career and Technical Education courses in the Education and Training, Health Science, Law and Public Service, STEM, and Energy clusters. The adopted materials will be implemented for the 2024-2025 school year.
Science K-12 and Personal Financial Literacy and Economics (PFL&E)
The public may view the Science K-12 and PFL&E materials in-person from January 16, 2024 through February 16, 2024, at the district's Instructional Support Center located at 4810 Magnolia Cove Drive, Kingwood, TX 77345 during the hours of 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
In addition, an evening public viewing is scheduled for February 1, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the district's Instructional Support Center located at 4810 Magnolia Cove Drive, Kingwood, TX 77345
Career and Technical Education (CTE)
The public may view the CTE materials in-person from January 16, 2024 through February 16, 2024, at the district's Collaboration Center located at 10201 Birchridge Drive, Humble, TX 77338 during the hours of 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
In addition, an evening public viewing is scheduled for February 8, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the district's Collaboration Center located at 10201 Birchridge Drive, Humble, TX 77338
Public feedback can be submitted online through the Humble ISD: Proclamation 2024 Instructional Materials Review/Survey electronic form. The deadline for submitting feedback is February 8, 2024. All responses will be reviewed by the district's Instructional Materials Advisory and Oversight Committees before making final recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
