Humble ISD invites the community to celebrate the new outdoor obstacle and fitness course at West Lake Middle School. Families are welcome to attend a brief dedication ceremony at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, at West Lake Middle School, located at 11810 Madera Run Parkway.
The event will feature performances from West Lake Middle School students and speeches from student speakers. During the ceremony, West Lake Middle School athletes will demonstrate the various fitness course equipment, and Principal Washington will share remarks.
The new obstacle and fitness course is the fourth outdoor course completed in Humble ISD and is designed to encourage physical activity, teamwork and fun. Built with handicap-accessible, poured-in-place rubber surfacing, it provides fall protection to ensure safety for everyone using the facility.
