Humble ISD's Super Staffers of the Month were recognized at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Tuesday, February 18. This month's Super Staffer Awards are sponsored by Lone Star Market.

Katy Maxwell, SPEAK Teacher - Eagle Springs Elementary
Those who nominated her said, “Katy Maxwell goes above and beyond to support new team members, always offering help and creating a welcoming environment. Despite the challenges of an increased workload, Katy maintains a positive attitude and uplifts her team, ensuring things keep moving forward. She also takes on extra responsibilities such as mentoring new teachers. Katy’s dedication, kindness, and passion for her students make her an invaluable team member and a true asset to Eagle Springs Elementary.”
Kamry Kraut, 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher - Timberwood Middle School
Those who nominated her said, “Ms. Kraut consistently demonstrates kindness and helpfulness, going above and beyond to support both students and colleagues. She creates a highly engaging and academically rigorous curriculum, challenging students to think critically while fostering a love for learning. Her ability to relate to her students ensures they feel understood and supported, and she is always willing to adapt her teaching strategies to meet their individual needs, helping them achieve success. Through her innovative lessons, she helps students make meaningful connections between history and the real world, deepening their understanding of the subject and its relevance to their lives. Additionally, Ms. Kraut works collaboratively with staff, readily sharing her insights, expertise, and time with anyone in need, making her an invaluable team member and leader.”

She consistently exceeds her departmental duties, working across teams to boost our division's collective success. Elissa plays a key role in promoting a culture of teamwork by bringing together diverse perspectives to improve the quality of work. She has been instrumental in implementing systematic changes and executing strategies that create lasting impact. One of her standout achievements is organizing successful conferences that foster knowledge sharing and innovation. Elissa also continues to collaborate with other departments for IC meetings and leads campus professional learning sessions, demonstrating her leadership and dedication to continuous improvement.”
