The AMS Band program has made history for our school! This year the Honor Band entered the TMEA 2C Honor Band competition, the most prestigious band competition in the state of Texas.
After surpassing the region level, our students qualified for area. Our area has nearly 70 school districts, meaning over 100 middle schools, and the AMS Honor Band was one of 11 bands chosen to compete at this level.
Atascocita Middle School Honor Band is an Area Finalist and is one of about 30 bands in the state of Texas that earned the honor of advancing to State.
